Streaming videos are encrypted in a WMV (Windows Media Video) format. You must have Windows Media Player installed before you can Stream these items. Windows Media Player is a third-party software which is supported by the manufacturer, not by Mel Bay.

Streaming videos are viewable on one computer only. Once the license is stored on your computer, it may not be transferred, transported, or copied to any other person or device. If your computer crashes before the transfer is complete, please contact techsupport@melbay.com. We recommend that you close other browser windows while transfering licenses to reduce the likelihood of problems.

Sheet music is encrypted in PDF format. You must have the FileOpen plug-in (The plug-in needed to view our downloads is currently not compatible with Macintosh. Please check back in the future for a Mac-compatible plug-in.) and Acrobat Reader installed before you can download these items. After completing your order, you will be shown links to transfer the license of each downloadable item you purchased. You will be able to print up to three copies of each item after transfering the license. You must be connected to the Internet to get print authorization from our server. You will not be able to open or print the files after one week.
